When taking a break from La Costa real estate, one way to get away from it all is to hop on the San Diego Coaster and take a trip to downtown San Diego and perhaps take in a Padres baseball game.
The Coaster just put out its new schedule which starts April 7 and runs through October 5, 2014.
So many of our out-of-area buyers are excited about the prospect of catching the San Diego Coaster at either the Encinitas, Carlsbad or Solana Beach stations and enjoying the scenic ride along San Diego’s coastline into the downtown area. Alternatively, they might take the Coaster north to Oceanside where they can take an Amtrak train to cities throughout the country. The possibilities are mcuh fun to consider!
The San Diego Coaster trains run daily, now starting at 5:15 a.m. in Oceanside with 1 a.m. returns from downtown on Sundays and holidays. Additionally, there is train service to EVERY Padres home game and free rides after 6 p.m. on New Years Eve. Drinking is still allowed on the trains up until 9 p.m.
