Safety first, we advise our Encinitas, La Costa and Carlsbad real estate clients who list their homes for sale with us. We don’t mean to be nagging mother hens, but safety is a prime concern.
When this infographic came out last nighit from the California Assiciation of Realtors (CAR), I immediately thought of sharing not only with our readers, but other Realtors across the country as well.
Our basic warnings to clients include never allowing people who are not accompanied by a Realtor (with card) into the home and to make sure valuables and prescription drugs are out of sight. These Safety First warnings are ones that For Sale by Owner (FSBO) sellers should also consider. And in addition to protecting our sellers’ homes, we also want to make sure potential buyers are protected from over-protective pets and other potential hazards.
Please save this article or infographic for future reference as it contains some applicable advice for even those who lhave no intent of selling, but just want to maintain a safe home.
